Diamond Trueheart, 27, was shot and killed while leaving the Salontra Select Suites on the afternoon of Thursday, January 13, Baltimore County Police said.
There were multiple people the parking lot of the Cantonsville Plaza Shopping Center when the shooting occurred, according to police.
Friends and family of Trueheart was devastated by her death and concerned for her young child.
"Another young man, now has to live without his Mother," one Facebook user wrote. "Many people lost their Friend but the world lost a beautiful soul. So many different chains and bonds broken."
A GoFundMe was also organized in Trueheart's honor to cover the cost of her funeral. The investigation into her death is ongoing.
